“Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting so many.” ~Hebrews 12:15 (NLT).
-Strengthen the weak or discouraged believers.
-Guard them and yourself against the temptation to turn away from following Jesus because of temporary suffering.
-Remain committed to The Lord.
As Christians, we need to learn how to look out for the lost, and even the saved in Christ, to make sure that they don’t fail to receive all the grace of God; No matter how difficult it may be for us enduring difficult times in their lives at the moment. We also need to make sure that even with all the bitterness that we may have, don’t let it poison or discourage you from following Jesus, it’s not worth it, because if you let that happen, it will discourage and corrupt others from following Jesus and His ways.
I’m not saying that it will always be easy to follow The Lord, because at times, it will become incredibly challenging, but I can promise you that it will be worth all of your suffering in the end; He will reward you with so much more than you could imagine. He will restore to you tenfold, for all the pain and suffering you had to go through to get to this point in your breakthrough for your life, that Jesus had already planned for you long ago, to make it finally happen. When you finally come to that aspect of your life, is then that you’ll realize why God made you go through, what you had to go through, to get to His reward once and for all. Once He brings you to that point, you’ll thank Him and praise Him for all the rest of the days of your life.
He blessed us with this life for a reason, and He’s about to show you the meaning, purpose, and reason for your life, in all of the weeks and months to come before it gets to be too little too late and He comes back for us, because once He comes back for us, that’s it, we’re done, and there’s no time left to do all the things that we wanted to do in our own lives for The Lord. It’s pretty sad to me, that God blessed us with so much potential for Him, and we never got to use any of it for the glory of The Lord. He just loves us all so much and He wants the best for us.
Our lives may not always be perfect, but I can promise you that they will be worth it. We have perfect moments we are able to share with each other, and we have to remember that we are doing it all for the praise and glory of The Lord. If this global pandemic has taught me anything about life, then please let it be this; It is not the material things that matter, but the moments, and the time, and the memories that we share with one another. He just wants us to remember that, before we forget all about it, when our lives eventually get back to normal after all of this pain, hurt, sadness, suffering, and loss are behind us. One day in the far future this will be nothing, but a distant memory, that we’ll all just forget this ever happened in the first place. 2020 has been far from a great year, that’s for sure, but God and I are here to tell you that it will probably get much worse, before it gets any better, but take heart for The Lord has overcome the world, all of this is only temporary, but I can assure you all that there will be far more better times ahead, than behind. The past is the past, keep it there, and focus on Jesus and the future that He has planned for all of us ahead.
No matter how bad your past may seem, don’t dwell on it, because it’s not worth it, once you come back to The Lord and repent of your sins, He will make you and all things new, for the old has died away and the new creation is here and forthcoming. That sounds great right? Well, it is! Let’s start with those new lives in Christ right now, there’s no time like the present to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Anyway, please repeat after me, “Lord, I’m not perfect, I’m a sinner, and only human, please come into my heart and my life, make me brand new, and forgive me of all of my sins. I love You, Lord, and I need You in my life every single day from now on, Amen and Amen!” Feel better now? I know that I do, I love you all and God Bless!
