The Guiding Light

“For You are my hiding place; You protect me from all trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best possible pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to be kept under control.” Amen. (Psalm 32:7-9 NLT).

Hi all, I know it’s been quite some time since I’ve written a post, my deepest apologies though, I’ve just been busy with work and whatnot as you can imagine, how crazy that can get and then of course, life gets in the way. But anyway, that’s neither here nor there; Let’s, move on now to the actual point of this blog. I think that we all can agree that we’ve fallen away from Jesus and the Gospel, yeah. I get it, I have times like that too, where you pray and pray some more, but nothing ever gets answered, just know that He’s working behind the scenes in our waiting season. God is our guiding light, we must follow Him and see where He’s leading us next, which can be both terrifying and exciting if you know what I mean. We must always keep our faith even when it seems challenging or difficult, but nevertheless, we must fully trust in Him always, Amen? Yes, Amen and Praise The Lord! When you are in trouble, He will be there beside you praying with you, healing you, encouraging you, and somehow put you on the path He wants you on. He’s probably saying, “come on, let’s go, you’ve been dragging your feet long enough, it’s time to move on, listen to Me, obey Me, and trust in Me, I know what’s best for your life, not you yourself. Don’t you know that when you plan things a certain way, they never seem to work out, but when you come to Me and put Me first always, it will work out, but of course, it has to be in My will for your life, before I make it happen, right?” Another specific thing we need to remember is this: Put God first in everything that you do, and He will work it out for you one way or another, even if we don’t see how, but where there’ s a will there’s a way, that’s for sure, Amen? Amen and praise The Lord! He sees a way where there is no way, trust me on that, it’s the truth, and of course, the truth shall set you free, at least that’s what they say right? Yes, I thought so. For as long as I have been a born again Christian since I was 23, I believe, He always seemed to make a way where I saw no way, He’s the God of impossible, that’s for certain. For example, I’m not married yet, but have been engaged to the best guy for almost 4 years now, we’re not sure when we’ll get married or if we ever will, but in time, it’s possible that we will, we’ve been praying and looking for apartments basically since we’ve been engaged, but so far, we’re having no luck, so maybe we should think about it and take a break from it for a while, then come back to it again eventually, however, when the time is right, I know that God will make it happen for us at some point, but I guess until that day comes, we’ll keep praying and waiting, and then we’ll see what happens. My hope is and I pray that all of this will happen for us sooner rather than later because we’re not getting any younger, so time is of the essence here, we’re getting eager and impatient for this new chapter of our lives to start as soon as possible because like they say, “Tomorrow is not promised.” So, we pray, hope, and speak life into this prayer starting now, “Please Lord, make it happen for us we’re eager and ready, Amen.” I think that our fear of failing and the unknown plays a big part of this issue as well, or we’re comfortable where we are and we don’t want certain things to change either, right? We also probably shouldn’t get too comfortable someplace either right? It’s a big step and a lot to think about and comprehend as well. I think you can all agree with us about this right? I think it’s also because we’re not exactly financially secure yet either, even though we’re both working full-time at the moment too. We’re just at the day and age where everything is just too expensive and none of us can afford it because of the way the world is, which is a whole different story and separate blog entry for another day, right? At this point we need about a dozen miracles for particular things to start happening and taking place for us. I would honestly like to give up, but I know that I can’t, because I don’t think that’s what God would want for any of us in the first place, correct? Persistence and obedience, I guess. That’s a challenge as well. If your still here and read to the end of this blog, thank you I truly appreciate it, and if you stopped reading halfway through, I’m sorry for that, forgive me if I bored you to death, but I needed to vent and get it all out. Thank you and God Bless! Well, until next time, Peace be with you all and God Bless!

With Love and in Christ,
