A Fortress in Times of Trouble

“The Lord rescues the godly; He is their fortress in Times of trouble.  The Lord helps them, rescuing them from the wicked.  He saves them, and they find shelter in Him.” ~Psalm 37: 39-40.

  • When we are lost, God saves us.
  • When we are in trouble, God helps us.
  • He rescues us from the evil and wicked ways of this world.
  • He is our shelter, when we feel weak and scared.
  • He guides and directs us back to Him when we became lost and are hurting.
  • He takes care of the godly, and then He let’s the wicked get the punishment that they deserve for not listening to or following His ways and not just their own ways.
  • We have a choice to make: 1.) God, the way, truth, and life or 2.) Satan, the evil one who belongs in Hades for His selfishness, pridefulness, love of money, worldly desires, deceitfulness, disobedience, etc.

The choice is yours, there’s Jesus, the way, the truth, and the life, or there’s Satan, the evil one.  It’s simple, Heaven where Jesus is or Hades where Satan is, with lots and lots of suffering and very hot for the rest of your eternal life.  Heaven where there’s peace, joy, beauty, light, and happiness for the rest of your eternal life.  It literally takes two seconds to say, “Yes, I choose Jesus, forgive me for I have sinned against you in my own thoughts, words, deeds, and heart’s desires, I don’t want to suffer anymore, I love you Jesus and I choose you, thank you, Lord, I love you in Jesus holy and precious name I pray, Amen!”  Please choose wisely.  I know where I’m going  when I die,

Do you? If not then, I will pray that you will figure it out real quick, sooner rather than later, before It’s too late with no time left.

We could be here one day and gone the next, you just never know what will happen, just please make the right decision before It’s too late.  I fully deserve to go to Hades, but because I am a true follower and true believer of The Lord, Jesus Christ, and It’s only because of His grace and mercy that when I die, I will go to Heaven with The Lord, Jesus Christ, to spend the rest of my eternal life with Him and hopefully with all of my loved ones too, who have gone before me and will come after me too.

This brings me to the next topic of discussion,  my Fiance and I have been lead into a new direction with a new church, so that we can start fresh and see what God will help us do there.  My fiance was given the opportunity to be the official new worship leader at this church, we will both be leaders there, He will be leading worship and I will be helping him with leading worship as well.  This was quite a tough decision to make for us because we were at a small church that we absolutely loved and were doing well there too, but my fiance wanted to go where God is leading him and it is not at our old church that we currently go to every week.  But starting next week, we will be at this new church leading worship from now on.  So we have prayed on this new beginning for not only our relationship with each other, but with our relationship with The Lord as well, and God has told us that the time is now, so we have to move on, so I just ask you all, to please pray for each one of us in this new journey in our relationship.  In addition to this, I would also like to ask for prayer for our old church for new beginnings, growth, revival, and financial help, because they are hurting and struggling so badly now, so please just pray for them and for God’s will to take place in that church.  Thank you, God Bless, and we love you all.

Before I close this blog entry, I would like to leave you with the names and addresses of these two amazing churches: 1.) Christ The King Church located at 4 Railroad Ave, suite #309 Wakefield, Mass. 01880.  Here’s the website as well: http://www.ctknorthshore.org and 2.) Highrock Church in Malden, Mass.  150 Cross Street, Malden, Massachusetts 02148 and Here’s their website: http://www.highrockmalden.org.

Let me conclude this blog entry by leaving you with this quote to think about, reflect on, and pray about before It’s too late.  Here it is: “Enjoy serving The Lord, and He will give you what you want.  Depend on The Lord; Trust in Him, and He will take care of you.” ~Psalm 37:4-5.  This was written by: Max Lucado in his book that is called: ” Let the Journey Begin; Finding God’s Best for your life.” Amen? Yes, Amen, and always Praise The Lord! God Bless!

~With Love and In Christ,

Emily
