Can You Honestly Say That You are Living Your Best Life?

“Therefore I, a prisoner for serving The Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.  Always be humble and gentle.  Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.  Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, building yourselves together with peace.  For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.  There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.”  ~Ephesians 4:1-6.

When we feel like prisoners because of the ways of the world, and living your lives for God, why not make it worthwhile for The Lord’s call on your life? Now, I imagine that you are saying, well, what do you mean by this? I will tell you what I mean by this in just a few minutes, but first, let me say this: are you honestly living your best life down here on earth? Some may say yes, some may say no, and say may not be so sure about this, but I’m here to tell you that you are most likely not living your best life the way that The Lord wants you too, do we agree on this? I think that we do.

Look at the ways of this world, and then think about your life and the way that you are living it for a moment, and then think about God and what He wants for your life, are you happy about your life and the way that you are living it right now? If the answer is no, then you need to start making some changes in your life, and if the answer is yes, then good for you, but God will only let you get so far, before He finds you at one of the most lowest points in your life, you’ll be wondering why you are feeling this way; then you’ll realize why, and it will be because you don’t have The Lord in your life anymore and that will be your own fault, and that’s for you and God to deal with, but in the end, God loves you regardless of these things, all that The Lord really wants is for you to come back to Him before it’s too late, so that He can help you make a better world for other people to live in and that really need it, we’ll use the homeless for an example, they have nothing and they need your help and God’s help too, so that he or she can become a better person for others of this world.

We might be the only Jesus that people see in this world.  But anyway, this brings me back to my other point that I was trying to make a few minutes ago: This is where making your life worthwhile plays in: Whatever it is that God is calling you to do, please step out in your faith and do it for The Lord.  When we go out and do things for The Lord, that’s what makes your life worth living, do we agree with this? We are all united with The Lord in one piece; He made us all in the image of Him, He gave each one of us similar gifts to one another, to share with others in communion with Him.  He wants us all to take these things and put them together so that we can help to grow His beautiful and perfect kingdom.

To me living for The Lord is definitely worth my while, as I am still living down here on this earth as a prisoner, because I am working for The Lord.  In all that I do, I do for The Lord, and it’s definitely worth it.  I guess that’s why I’m so good at certain things, because they are all for the glory of The Lord; and He fully deserves all the praise.  It is because of Him, that I am able to do all these things.  And so, Thank You Lord, I love You, In Jesus’ holy and precious name I pray, Amen and Amen!

~With Love and In Christ,

Emily
