Reflections

So, I’m sitting out on my front porch, enjoying this beautiful weather, and listening to the wind blow, the traffic in the background, and a squirrel running around in my front yard, probably trying to find some food for himself and his family, and I’m also just reflecting on this past week and how stressful it has been, and I’m realizing that God has been with me through it all, and it just amazes me how great He is even though it’s not always been an easy task by any means.  This past July was a good one for me, because I was chosen to be LP (Loss Prevention) hero and I also had a great review and a good raise as well, and it was unexpected and I did not deserve it all, but I’m thankful for it anyway.  None of this was possible for me on my own strength, but because of God, it was all possible and He planned for this to happen ahead of time, and I didn’t even see it coming either, the truth is that the unexpected things are the best things in life.

They are so simple, yet they make a huge impact on your life and then you realized that because of God, you are destined to do some really great things, no matter how big or small these things may always seem.  It could be the tiniest little thing, such as offering someone a ride to work, and it will mean the most to that certain person.

I guess that what I’m trying to say here is to not underestimate the power of the everlasting Lord.  When you’ve done all that you could possibly do, it is right then when The Lord steps in and takes care of the rest.  Don’t fight any of it, just let go and let The Lord take care of the rest.  We walk in favor because The Lord made us that way and He didn’t want to have it any other way.  We are made perfect in The Lord because of what His son, Jesus Christ did for us on that cross for our sins.  If you ask me, we should always be bringing praise and thanksgiving to The Lord, because of how great He truly is! Amen? I say, Amen and Praise The Lord!

~With Love and in Christ,

Emily
