“I was blameless before Him, and I kept myself from guilt. And The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in His sight.” ~2 Samuel 22:24-25.
My thoughts and reflections on this Bible verse will be this: Basically what this Bible passage is trying to tell us is that because The Lord took our punishment for our sins upon Himself, we are blameless before Him, so we should not feel guilty for what we’ve done in our past, because He loves us and we are forgiven by Him on a daily basis. He just puts us through these struggles to teach us a lesson and hopefully learn from it all, so that we will not do that again ever for the rest of our lives. He wants us to know that according to our righteousness before Him, He will reward us, we just need to prove it to Him first, and then we will show Him our changed lives by acting according to His will and not our own selfish wills and desires. It is what God wants, and not what we want.
You see? All of our struggles are only temporary and not permanent, even though it seems like it is the most of the time. If God is making you wait for something, no worries, you are in good company. As soon as the storm passes, that is when God’s light will shine the brightest and it is right then, that He will reward you for all of the struggles that He has put you through. Throughout these trials, God also wants you to grow closer to Him, so that you are able to have a much better relationship with Him than you currently used to have. Do not fear to let God take over your life because trust me, you are in good hands and after you’ve done that, it will turn out to be one of the best decisions that you could have ever made in your entire life. Amen.
