“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” ~Psalm 46:10.
What is God trying to show me in this verse?
I think that what God is trying to show me in this verse will be this: He wants and needs me to learn how to let go of everything and let Him take care of it. He wants me to stop trying to control things in my own life because if I don’t let go and I don’t let Him take control, then these things that I’m trying to do alone, will not work out because it is not in His will for my life. The sooner I let go of these issues and give them all to God, good things will start to take place in my life because it is in God’s plan for my life.
I think that God also wants those that are unsaved to let go and let Him take control of their lives as well. The sooner that we do that, the better off we’ll all be and with that comes a big revival. A big awakening and a big revival is exactly what God wants and is what we are all praying, trusting, believing, and hoping for. I look forward to when that day of a big revival comes, it will be remarkable, astonishing, and a major relief to those churches that are greatly struggling right now. God wants to put a stop to that as soon as He possibly can and I know that now because this is the message that He is trying to share with me through this specific Bible Passage and I intend to listen to Him and then I intend to go out in this world and share this Word with those that are willing to listen. That is God’s Christian Mission for my life and I intend to obey Him and trust Him with this mission for my Christian life through Him.
How does God want me to apply this verse to my life?
In order to apply this verse to my life through God will have to be this: I believe that God wants me to start living my life without any fear of what the future holds because God is already there and He will help me through it. God never gives any of us more than we can handle and that is for darn sure. Throughout my years of being a born-again Christian, God has taught me these lessons especially with the two jobs that He has blessed me abundantly with over time. He’s going to continue teaching me these lessons as I grow and mature in my relationship with Him. It will not be easy, but with God all things are possible and that is God’s honest truth no matter what. God doesn’t care if we don’t want to hear what He has to say to us because if it is in His will and in His perfect timing, He will make it happen; So, we always need to be ready for Him at any given moment. We make our own plans and God just laughs because as I’ve said before, it has to be what God wants and not what we want. At the end of our lives and when God calls us home, we need to be able to say that we used all that He gave us for His glory.
He will be exalted among all of the nations, He will be exalted in all the earth! Amen? The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
